“My respect for the ocean and gratitude for life is nurtured from the spiritually uplifting moments in time that I am fortunate enough to experience behind my camera in the deep blue. Many of my teachings in mindfulness have come from being in the ocean. I am continually captivated by the beauty and magical behavioural displays of our amazing marine life. It saddens me to see the destruction of our ocean’s ecosystems from overfishing, pollution, marine debris and industrialization.”
“My mission is to capture the feeling of my interactions with our vulnerable marine life in their natural surrounds just as I see them through my camera lens. Working with the ethereal aspects of the ever changing light and colour in the swirling depths to engage the viewer with the emotions of my experience. I endeavour to encourage a heartfelt respect and appreciation for our threatened marine life and bring a greater awareness to global marine conservation issues, inspiring the international community to take action before it is too late.”
